About

Welcome! I’m glad you are here. Perhaps you are expecting or recently welcomed a little one. Wherever you are on your journey, congratulations!

The time leading up to welcoming your baby and thereafter can be a very exciting time while also being challenging.

I help moms function well while navigating pregnancy and postpartum life. Together, we turn a potentially overwhelming transition into a manageable and positive experience.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Leora has practiced occupational therapy across a variety of settings including acute rehabilitation, mental health, and school- and home-based pediatrics. She completed a post-graduate interdisciplinary Leadership Education to bridge academic, research, clinical experiences with a focus on creating innovative solutions to barriers in the health care system. Her capstone project became reality when she launched the first county-approved community-based early intervention therapeutic play program to help young children and families reach their therapy goals in the most natural setting, alongside peers in the community.

Leora joined an OT Advisory Board to help launch the first OT program in Rochester, NY and served as Clinical Adjunct Faculty.

Over many years, professionally and personally, Leora noticed a large gap between the expert recommended, "build a strong support network," and, "plan ahead for the postpartum days," while actually doing it in a meaningful way and minimizing associated stress. Leora is passionate about understanding her clients’ unique needs and helping to provide skilled practical solutions for everyday life.

Leora lives in New York with her family and is the proud mom of two busy boys, born in 2012 and 2014, and a snuggly girl born in 2020.
